Have a rare caliber, a wildcat cartridge, or a vintage chamber that factory ammo no longer supports?
Our Custom Ammunition service delivers expertly hand-developed rounds tailored to your firearm and purpose. Whether you need soft lead cast rounds for a historic revolver, high-precision match loads for competition, or specialty projectiles for hunting or target work, we pair experienced handloaders with quality components and rigorous QC to produce dependable, consistent ammunition when off-the-shelf options fail.
What you get
• Fully custom loads in calibers not commonly offered.
• Choices of bullet type (FMJ, hollow point, soft lead, plated, match), grain weight, and case manufacturer where available.
• Powder and primer selection tuned to desired velocity, recoil, and barrel life.
• Consistent seating depth, crimping, and headspace attention for safety and reliability.
• Batch traceability and inspection — each lot is checked for weight, overall length, and visual defects.

How does it work?
Provide cartridge and firearm details — caliber, firearm make/model, barrel length, chamber markings, and the intended use (match, hunting, plinking, reduced recoil, etc.). Photos and chamber/bolt face markings are helpful.
Choose whether you’ll send us the barrel or upper receiver (recommended) or arrange an FFL transfer for a complete firearm where required by law. Sending your barrel/upper lets us verify headspace, throat dimensions, and chamber characteristics so loads are truly tailored.
We propose safe component options and a recommended load window based on the details and our experience. You approve the final specification.
We build a small test batch and perform on-range proofing using your submitted action/upper (or an agreed test platform if local laws prevent receiving parts). Tests include chronograph velocities, pressure gauging, group-size checks, and function/feeding/cycling verification appropriate to the cartridge and firearm type. Results and recommended adjustments are documented and shared with you.
After you review and approve the test results, we produce your full lot to the same spec, perform final QC (weight/OAL/visual inspection), and ship your custom ammo back with the barrel/upper (or arrange pickup/FFL transfer).
You receive: the finished lot, test data (velocities, grouping, notes), and handling/storage guidance. We also include recommended maintenance and tips specific to the load and your firearm.
We also save your data for future purchases through us, so you can ensure you always have a way to purchase the ammo you need.
